Please note that this is the official website of the 8th Congress of Immunology (ECI 2027) for registrations. No other websites, companies, or agencies are authorised to sell registrations or hotel bookings in any form, nor to contact participants directly.
Advance registration is strongly recommended in order to facilitate the planning of the scientific sessions and social events of the congress which might not be available for late or onsite registrations.
Registrations will open on October 30, 2026.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS
Participants may proceed using the online registration system.
Offline registrations and requests for pro-forma invoices sent by email are subject to an additional administration fee of €30.00.

* EFIS Members: Registration fee for members of a national society belonging to EFIS. Be aware if your membership is not updated at the time of your application, the “non-member fee” will be applied.
** Residents and Students: application for the resident fee and for medical students/residents should be certified by a letter from the head of the department/university of Student ID to be uploaded in the online platform directly (pdf format is required), stating that the applicant is a medical student/resident at the time of registration.
***Industry Professionals: Commercial representatives and corporate personnel who have a legitimate educational or business reason for attending, but do not have a sponsorship or product and service to exhibit.

* Meals will be provided to the congress participants attending the sponsored symposia. No additional meals will be offered during the lunch break, however, participants may purchase snacks, sandwiches, or other items at the bar located within the conference venue.

VISA INFORMATION
For some nationalities, a Visa is required to enter in Italy. Foreign participants should contact the Embassy or Consulate in their home country to determine their Visa requirements.
Participants requiring Visas should initiate the application process at least 3 months prior to their departure date.
The Organising Secretariat OIC is not able assist participants with their Visa application and cannot intervene with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant.
LETTER OF INVITATION (FOR VISA APPLICATION)
To request a Visa invitation letter please log into the online registration link and enter the module “Invitation letter request”.
Only participants fully registered in the conference can obtain a personal invitation letter and only once the full payment of the registration fee is received.
Relevant expenses for hardcopy of the invitation letter sent by express courier must be paid in advance.
Important notice: visa invitation letter only aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Congress, and it is not a commitment from the organizers to cover any kind of expenses or to provide any financial support. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference remain the sole responsibility of the participant.

Payment by credit card
The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, VISA, MasterCard.
Starting September 2019, new European regulations for online credit card payments require 3D Secure verification. This adds an extra layer of protection by asking your bank for a password, code, or biometric confirmation.
Please make sure your credit card is enabled for international transactions within the Eurozone. If your payment does not go through, contact your credit card issuer for assistance.
The registration will be confirmed once your credit card payment is successfully processed. A confirmation email will then be sent automatically.

All expenses shall be borne by ordering customer.
Please note that intermediary bank fees may be applied, please verify with your local bank.
Important information: Please indicate your name and surname and ECI2027 as reference on your payment so that we can identify you for confirmation.
Invoices
Invoices for addresses within the European Union must include a VAT Number. The billing address and VAT number can only be entered during the registration process. If you have any special requests regarding your invoice, please inform us at the time of registration.
Off-line registrations and requests for pro-forma invoices l will incur into € 30,00 administration charge.
Any changes to the VAT number or billing address requested after the invoice has been issued will also incur into a €30,00 administration charge.
Cancellation policy
All changes or cancellations must be sent electronically by email to:
All delegates are strongly recommended to stipulate a personal travel insurance.
- Cancellations received by 31 May 2027 midnight CET: The paid amount will be refunded deducting 30%, which will be invoiced as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received from 1 June to 5 August 2027 midnight CET: The paid amount will be refunded deducting 70%, which will be invoiced as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received after 6 August 2027 midnight CET: No refund will be processed.
If you are unable to attend the Congress for any reason after paying, and/or cannot transfer your registration to another person, you must cancel your registration. Refunds will only be issued if the cancellation request is received before the deadlines stated above. No refunds will be granted once a service has started or is considered underway.
An administrative fee of € 50 will be applicable for name changes. For the replacement of a delegate, written permission from the originally registered participant will be required, along with full contact details of the substitution
If you are unable to attend due to a Visa denial, a refund may be granted upon submission of a copy of the visa rejection letter. The refund will be issued deducting the applicable cancellation fees mentioned above. No refunds will be issued for additional charges such as express shipping of invitation letters.
Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance before attending the congress. Please note that registration fees do not include any insurance coverage, and OIC does not provide insurance of any kind for attendees. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure they have adequate health and travel insurance for the duration of their stay.
Liability disclaimer
In the event of serious, unforeseen, or exceptional circumstances beyond their control, EFIS and OIC reserve the right to cancel or change the dates of the event. Attendees will not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damage resulting from such changes or cancellations. EFIS and OIC are not liable for any theft, loss, or damage to property or personal injury occurring on site during the Congress, unless caused by intent, negligence, or deliberate misconduct on their part.
EFIS and OIC shall not be held responsible for any food poisoning or intoxication occurring during the event.
