Prof. Shimon Sakaguchi
Nobel prize in 2025 in Physiology or Medicine (with Mary E. Brunkow and Fred Ramsdell) for the discoveries on peripheral immune tolerance.
Prof. James Patrick Allison
Nobel prize in 2018 in Physiology or Medicine (with Tasuku Honjo) for the discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation.
